Alice Keck Park Engagement Session

Last month I met with Jordan and Moshe to photograph their engagement session at Alice Keck Park in Santa Barbara. When I first met them, they made a couple comments about how they’re going to need a lot of guidance posing during their session. I could already tell within the first 10 minutes of talking with them that they’d be very easy. Their body language together showed me that they were comfortable being affectionate towards each other. Their wedding is next year at Lion’s Park in Carpinteria.

We first met up at Alice Keck Park, which is one of my favorite spots for engagement sessions. The park had so many different colored flowers in bloom, it made a gorgeous backdrop for their pictures. We went through and were able to find a couple new areas that might be some of my new favorite spots. After spending some time at the park, we headed down to the beach to finish up their session. It was pretty crowded in Santa Barbara that day, but we were able to find a fairly secluded section of beach for some more intimate photos.

Jordan and Moshe were so ridiculously easy to work with. They’re both super cute and cuddly, and I hardly had to give them and direction on what to do. They were both really happy and very clearly, madly in love. I had so much fun working with them both and I’m really lookgin forward to getting to know them both better before their wedding next summer.

I’m loving how their pictures came out, but my personal favorites are at the park, since I LOVE bright, crisp, vivid colors, and there were so many colorful flowers at the park! It was a really beautiful background for Jordan and Moshe, and I think it even fit their personalities better.

Here’s my favorites from Jordan and Moshe’s engagement session at Alice Keck Park in Santa Barbara.
