A History of The Ojai Valley Inn

Above all, Ojai Valley boasts high levels of spirituality and good vibrations for each of its visitors. Originally settled by the Chumash Indians, now Ojai Valley is home to every type of artisan work, winemakers and breweries, and shopping spots galore. Making this not only a stunning venue for your big day but also a venue with rich culture and interesting local spots.

Reception Areas and Guests That Can Be Accommodated

At Ojai Valley Inn, couples can pick from one of three reception areas. The first, Anacapa Ballroom can host 200 guests. It has an indoor foyer with chandeliers and two fireplaces, and a quieter, outdoor terrace.

Hacienda Ballroom and Orchard Lawn can host 300 guests each. In addition, Hacienda Ballroom is famous for its large Spanish-style fireplace. And Orchard Lawn has a vine-covered pergola and covered pathways through a lavender garden for a more delicate feel during your reception.

Ojai Valley Inn weddings have the option of two different ceremony venues: Artist Cottage Lawn or Hacienda Courtyard, which hosts 300 and 200 guests, respectively. In addition, each venue is outfitted with chairs, a sound system, gift tables, a shuttle service, and a beverage station for the comfort of your guests.

Cost Estimates

No matter which venue speaks to you, you’ll get the best treatment at Ojai. Site fees, which include an on-site ceremony, cocktail, and reception reservations, start at $15,000. Expect a catering fee of $45,000 for 150 guests. Beyond 150 people, the venue will charge an additional $300 per person.

Other Considerations

Tables, chairs, tablecloths, white china, and silverware are provided with each venue. Each dining table will also be outfitted with candles. Servers and bartenders will be assigned in accordance with the number of guests. Also, bars, stages, and dance floors are available and may cost extra depending on the choice of venue. As well as parking, including valet parking, is provided.
