Palm Garden Thousand Oaks Wedding
I had such a great time capturing Kelsey and Jon’s wedding at Palm Garden Hotel in Thousand Oaks! This is now the second wedding I’ve had the honor of photographing for them! They had a little elopement last year at their parent’s house, but last month they were finally able to celebrate the big party with all of their family and friends!
Kelsey and Jon shared some of their inspiration for their wedding with me. Read what they had to say:
What are you most looking forward to on the day?
“We are both excited to get to be with our friends and family, especially Jon who has been in Oklahoma for 2 years.”
What inspired your wedding décor?
“Our favorite colors.”
Did you have a theme in mind?
“Blush and gold with a hint of sparkles/glam with a romantic vibe and lounge area vibe.”
Why did you pick the venues that you chose?
“In home town, loved the ceremony spot.”
What is your favorite feature about your wedding venue?
“Kelsey likes the ceremony spot and Jon likes the hotel.”
Is there any particular vendor that you are really excited to have for your day?
“We are excited about having Elizabeth capture some great memories and excited about having a photo booth there and getting to have a guestbook filled with pictures.”
Tell us about the food/drink at your wedding.
“We will have a cocktail hour with appetizers while wedding party pictures are happening. There will be a bar and each table will have two bottles of wine. the caterer is making chicken with cream sauce, veggies and potatoes as one option and vegan lasagna with the same sides for the other. My mom and sister are doing a candy bar and dessert table.”
Which part of your wedding did you want to WOW your guests?
“Our decorations and what we are wearing and the flowers.”
