Cabrillo Pavilion Beach Wedding

As a Ventura County wedding photographer, there may be nothing I love more than a beach wedding! So, when Ann Johnson asked me to photograph this venue that sits right on a Santa Barbara Beach I was excited! The Cabrillo Pavilion is an ocean-front wedding venue located on Santa Barbara’s East Beach. This venue is beautiful on its own, but Ann and her team designed everything so perfectly for a Cabrillo Pavilion beach wedding that it made it all that much better!

Cabrillo Pavilion Wedding Venue

This 1920s historic landmark has recently undergone a complete renovation. The updates to both the interior and exterior helped to create a timeless venue while paying tribute to the history of the area. The layout of the building is perfect for large events, holding up to 215 guests. With terraces and large windows, you are guaranteed perfect views of the beach at this oceanfront Santa Barbara wedding venue!

Furniture & Amenities

When renting your wedding venue always ask about their amenities! It is so much easier to plan a wedding when your venue provides furniture, catering, or any other need for your big day. Cabrillo Pavilion provides the following amenities to couples who book their wedding.

  • assortment of 6-foot banquet tables
  • 60 & 48 inch round tables
  • 215 banquet style chairs
  • cocktail tables
  • a portable bar
  • lectern, projector and projection screen
  • music system, wireless hand held in the & lavalier microphones
  • optional dance ($100 fee) sized 21′ x 21′ or smaller

Cabrillo Pavilion also provides sample floor plans (here) to give you an idea of how the venue can hold your guests.

Beach Use

If you are looking to have a Cabrillo Pavilion beach wedding, then there are a few extra steps to do! Most events use the Cabrillo Pavillion venue for receptions and the beach for the ceremonies. However, beach use requires a reservation with the Parks and Recreation Department, and additional fees may apply to reserve the beach. Contact Parks and Rec here!

The beach provides beautiful views from this Santa Barbara wedding venue. In addition, when having a beach ceremony your reception is just a short walk away! It’s gorgeous, convenient, and offers many options for your wedding day. There’s enough space to have beach games at your Cabrillo Pavilion beach wedding reception, or get creative with a unique beach send-off at the end of the night!

This Cabrillo Pavilion beach wedding editorial was absolutely dreamy! I loved getting to know this Santa Barbara wedding venue and would highly recommend it to any bride. I can’t wait to see how you plan your wedding at this venue!
