Learning more about my couples is one of the reasons I’m able to create such raw and emotional galleries. And getting to know Bri and Chris was so awesome! Bri and Chris actually live up in the Bay Area but are planning their wedding at the Hilton Beachfront Santa Barbara for this fall. They are super easy-going and fun-loving people and are absolutely made for each other. The weather was perfect for their Santa Barbara engagement photos, and we even got a pretty pink sunset at the end of it all!
A few weeks ago, Bri and Chris invited me to their tasting at the Hilton Beachfront Hotel. It was a really cool experience to see things more from the planning side. I loved being able to hang out with them again, and getting to know their wedding planner, Sophie of Amazing Day Events.
Santa Barbara Photo Locations
It’s no secret that Santa Barbara is full of gorgeous landscaping and architecture. Just take a stroll down State Street and you will be impressed with the Spanish Colonial Revival style of architecture that lines the streets. And of all the buildings in Santa Barbara, the County Courthouse has to be the most iconic of them all. With its unique four-face clock tower, smooth arches, red tile roof, and lush gardens. You have to check out this location for your Santa Barbara engagement photos.
Another classic location in Santa Barbara to take your engagement photos is the beach! Santa Barbara County is lined with beaches. Each has its own unique qualities that you will fall in love with. I recommend scheduling your engagement session towards the end of the day, especially if you are planning on capturing your love on the beach. As the sun is setting the lighting will be less harsh and provide a more dreamy end result. In addition, you may even get sunset pictures as Bri and Chris did!
