Spanish Hills Country Club Wedding – LeeAnne & Mark

Spanish Hills Country Club Wedding

LeeAnne and Mark got married at the beautiful Spanish Hills Country Club, Camarillo, earlier this month. It was a gorgeous outdoor wedding, with completely perfect weather.

Getting ready

LeeAnne got ready at her house in Newbury Park with her best friend, Debbie. They had a private car drive them to the venue and LeeAnne got into her gown once she arrived at Spanish Hills Country Club. She wore a gorgeous Stella York gown from Belle Mucci in Ventura, and she looked so stunning.

Mark got ready at his own private wine cellar with his friend, Scott. His cellar is right down the street from his home. Mark wore a suit from the Men’s Warehouse, and looked really handsome.

The ceremony

The ceremony took place on the lawn right next to the reception site. Rose petals were placed in a decorated swirl down the aisle, and the ceremony began with live music by Masha McSorley. The ceremony was really sweet, with the couple saying personal vows they’d written themselves. It was a beautiful ceremony, full of lots of laughter and so much love.

After the ceremony, we did some family photos near the entrance of the venue. Then we went for couples portraits, which is always my favorite part of the wedding. I got some lovely couples photos near the fountain. The weather was perfect, and since it had rained the day before, we really got lucky with the perfect day.

The reception

LeeAnne and Mark chose to have their wedding at Spanish HIlls Country Club because it allowed them to personalize their wedding day as much as they had wanted. They are both wine lovers, and Spanish HIlls let them bring in their own wine variety, which was a huge selling point for them. The Spanish Hills has such a luxurious feel to it, the reception room has beautiful lighting and a gorgeous seating area.

During the cocktail hour and at the beginning of the reception, the couple had a women wearing a champagne/wine glass skirt, it was so interesting to see, and I thought it was such a cool and unique way to serve wine and champagne. After the grand entrance and the first dance, they had speeches by Debbie and Scott. The speeches were really funny too. Afterwards, everyone enjoyed the delicious buffet dinner.

The evening

The dance floor was packed from the moment the first dance finished until the very last song. The DJ kept the party going all night. After dinner, LeeAnne and Mark cut the cake, and it was honestly really funny to watch them!

The evening ended with a sparkler exit, which was incredible. They used special, fire safe “cold” sparklers, which looked really cool and they’re allowed at venues that have a No Sparkler policy. The whole wedding was so much fun, from the beautiful ceremony to the unique sparkler exit.

I loved this Spanish Hills Country Club wedding so much and had such an amazing time being there for LeeAnne and Mark. If you’re getting married and looking for an amazing wedding photographer, please get in touch.
