PADUA HILLS THEATRE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

Last year I photographed this wedding at the Padua Hills Theatre in Claremont. This venue is beyond gorgeous! It’s tucked up in the mountains, above the city, surrounded by trees with twinkle lights and lanterns. It has such a fairy tale feel with a beautiful space indoors for the wedding reception. This is a functioning theatre, so there’s a stage, but not the traditional seating, which makes this perfect for weddings or other events. And because it’s a theatre, it has the amazing lighting built in, which made for some really breathtaking photos of the first dance. The couples first dance had the feeling that they were the only two people in the entire room. Such a romantic look and feel.

When I’m not photographing weddings for my clients, I’ll work along side other photographers and help them out for the day. This wedding was under Jen Renee Photography, so I don’t actually know too much information about the couple, but I know that they were beyond adorable together, seemingly madly in love, and had the perfect wedding day nestled up in the hills. I had such a nice time at their wedding. The theme they went with was Beauty and The Beast, and the reception room fit the vibe perfectly.

I’d love to photograph another wedding at Padua Hills! The area surrounding the property was my favorite part. I really love trees, and it had so many on the property which added beautiful shade and filtered light. I love that there are lanterns and little twinkle lights in the trees as well, it makes the area look so magical in the evening when the lights come on.
