Camarillo Ranch Wedding Elopement – Tara & Kevin

Camarillo Ranch Wedding Elopement

Last month Tara and Kevin had an intimate wedding elopement at Camarillo Ranch. A small group of their family members joined to celebrate their union. The wedding was under the white gazebo in the courtyard as a harpist played peacefully.

After their ceremony, Tara, Kevin, and I walked around the ranch for their couple’s portraits. Tara wore a beautiful long-sleeved gown that went perfectly with the Victorian venue. It was a beautiful day in Camarillo with a vibrant blue sky, and a light breeze. As we walked around the property I saw a garden filled with colorful succulents. It’s a relatively small area at the ranch that I’ve seen before but had previously overlooked. The images I captured of Tara and Kevin in this garden are some of my favorites from their wedding.

We were fortunate to have a fairly long time together at the ranch for their couple’s portraits before we needed to leave to go to their reception. The reception was at one of my favorite restaurants, Rumfish Y Vino in downtown Ventura. This restaurant has such a great outdoor patio space and an overall cool and modern ambiance. The food is amazing as well. I didn’t stay at their reception long, just long enough to capture them cutting their wedding cake – which allowed me to have a slice before I left.

Like most of my couples, Tara and Kevin were so sweet and easy to work with. It was such a pleasure being able to capture their wedding day. I’m continuously in awe at how lucky I am to have such amazing clients. And I’m so excited to share some of my favorite images from Tara and Kevin’s wedding elopement at Camarillo Ranch.
