Point Dume Nature Preserve Engagement Session
When the Point Dume Nature Preserve is in full bloom it is quite beautiful to see. Include a super cute and loving couple and you basically have magic. It was sooo windy the day I met Karen and Tom for their engagement session. It’s often windy at the beach but this day was much stronger than normal. We still had an amazing session at the Point Dume Nature Preserve. The bright yellow flowers covering the hillside were so beautiful. The pathway through the preserve wraps around the hillside giving you the breathtaking view of the ocean crashing against rocks. At one point we were even able to see a whale and her calf below. Karen and Tom are so cute together and I can’t wait to show off their gorgeous engagement session at the Nature Preserve.
Karen and Tom will be getting married in the fall of this year at Mandalay Beach Resort in Oxnard. I think it’s one of the prettiest beachfront resorts in all of Ventura County. Their wedding will be right on the sand and their reception will be on the grass nearby. They’re planning a fairly casual celebration with little of the traditional wedding day elements. It sounds like it will be a really fun party and I’m so stoked I get to be a part of it!
